We will explore how to scaffold and structure classroom discussions through Socratic Seminar. It is a way to have authentic student led, student to student, interpersonal practice. Socratic Seminar incorporates the interpretive and interpersonal modes of communication and allows students to make meaning of texts and use the target language to deepen their understanding.
