Research has shown that giving learners control over their instruction can significantly enhance self-regulated learning and increase information retention (Milheim, 1990; Scheiter, 2005). In this session, attendees will learn how to create interactive lessons. These lessons allow students to control the pacing and sequence of their learning.
Learn about the WL Reading Challenge, a successful initiative between CLTA and the California Dept of Education, and how teachers can easily implement it in their schools.
