This summer as the recipient of the 2023-24 Centro MundoLengua travel grant, I was fortunate enough to travel to Madrid, Spain for a week for Advanced Placement training and immersive cultural experiences. In this session, the participants will be introduced to Centro MundoLengua. After discussing the immersive cultural experiences, have attendees brainstorm how they could adapt similar activities in their classrooms. The use of AI in language teaching and learning has become a popular topic of discussion among educators. In this presentation, the presenter will introduce how she uses ChatGPT to design prompts that enhances a variety of class activities, discussions, projects, and assessments. The presenter will also introduce other functions of ChatGPT in her use of various class tasks.
